Tevo Firefly DLP Printer

Tevo recently released news that they were working on a DLP printer called the Tevo Firefly. This printer will be in direct competition with the wildly successful Wanhao D7. They Firefly and Wanhao D7 will compete for the same style printer at similar price points. The firefly will have the advantage of seeing the successes and failure of the Wanhao D7 and improve upon them. This DLP printer is slated to cost $439, including shipping.  At this point, Tevo is waiting for some parts to finish up the printer and start getting them in the pipeline for purchase.  Watch this space, for when it is released to the public.  There is now an Owner Support and fan page on Facebook.  There are a large number of people that are excited to see what Tevo does to bring low-cost resin printing to the consumer market.  I’ll add information on build size and other stats as they become available.

This has a Belt Driven Z, which is a unique build choice, that will hopefully reduce Z wobble.

They also are confirming the $439 price, shipped.  If you are in the market for a DLP resin printer, this is the printer to look at.
